As a Pastor's son, it has been somewhat a birth right for me to be involve in Church Ministry. I must admit that i love church ministry and over the years have beenblessed to serve and do just about everything in my home church.

My motto in church ministry has been to
1) Make more Disciples
2) Demonstrate Christ's love through my life testimony
3) Motivate the youth and children to want to reach out to the less fortunate
4) Inspire the younger generation to forge good relationships with the older generations

I believe that because i have been born into a Pastor's family, i have been given more room to be a leader in my home church in Singapore.

I have by God's strength been an effective leader by being:
1) a facilitator and speaker at many of the youth and children meetings,
2) advisor/counselor at many of the Sunday School Camps,
3) Camp Commandant at 6 different camps
4) President and Vice for four terms of service
(each term consisting a full year)
5) Chief Editor of Church Anniversary Magazine

Upon my arrival in Australia, i have also been blessed with equivalent job responsibilities and ministry openings. I have been in two churches and have been given the opportunity to:

1) Start a discipleship/follow-up ministry

2) Preach/Speak at Old Folks Home (Concorde Nursing Home, Subiaco)

3) Facilitate Bible Study Sessions

4) Lead workshops tackling a wide range of subjects
(anger management, self-respect and loving enemies)

5) Write several publications for newsletter and magazines

I have also been given dual membership in my church in Singapore and here in Australia. This is something that had not been allowed by my church (Singapore) in the past years but has been approved for me upon the recommendation of my Pastor in Perth.

In all, i am glad to be actively involve in Church ministry as this allows me not only to minister to other but in the process, i learnt a great deal and am ministered to by the more senior leaders.

A great deal of my work in church can be viewed in this blog which was set up by a close friend of mine.
